GADE Student Award for Social Work Research
The GADE Student Award for Research is given to an individual doctoral student or collaborative group of students, whose scholarship and research advances social work as a helping profession. The award recognizes social work as a subject worthy of scientific study, even in an interdisciplinary context. The award is given for a study expected to have an impact on social work or human services, and serve as a model for scientific rigor. Particular attention is given to research activities that have direct implications for social work practice with disadvantaged and vulnerable populations.
